This Take & Make kit explores an effective method of agriculture in arid environments - Waffle Gardens! This technique was developed centuries ago by Indigenous Peoples of the American southwest and is still used today. Patrons create their own waffle garden and test how it withholds soil moisture compared to a non-waffle garden.
